Just another post. However, I do have some important things to announce.

#1 – Haniya’s birthday was Friday! She turned 13, a true teen now! (don’t go wacky on me, Haniya!) We spent most of the day with her, then went to someone’s house in the evening. There, to Haniya’s enormous surprise (I guessed it long before it happened… ;) ) they (speaking of around 40 people…) sang her “happy birthday” (Haniya’s face:  )! So we had a great time there. We came home at 9:00 PM to put away the ducks and go to bed.

#2 – Headgear will begin in three weeks for me. Oh no. I have to admit though, I’m somewhat excited! Tomorrow–Monday–the orthodontist will make records and impressions. 2 weeks after that, the fun begins, or rather it ends? Hm. Anyway, the point is I’ll have my headgear put on in two weeks. No idea how long I’ll have to have them, but I’ve got a big over-bite, like Haniya.

#3 – Perhaps this isn’t good news like the rest of the announcements. It’s either good or bad, or both! Daisy’s kids disappeared for a around 16 hours. They disappeared at 3:00 PM and came back at 7:45 AM. We were so worried about them. It was a foggy night, they hadn’t drunk milk for a long time, and they were alone. Daisy was calling and calling for them. We searched for a total of 2 hours, looking everywhere. Me and Mom were out doing milking, the next morning, when I hear this little yell. Cracker and Binks are laying down sleeping, so it couldn’t be them. We listen more, and I look outside. The two babies are running toward the barn, screaming. They rushed up to me and wanted milk. I took them to Daisy–who had, unfortunately, just been milked out–and they nursed what they could from her. The rest, I bottle-fed them. We’re so relieved they’re back. The kids and Daisy have definitely been talking to each other, keeping in touch. ;)

#4 – Bad news. Pepper, and now her brother, have broken out in Goat Pox (or ‘Cow Pox’). Their bottoms are covered in little sores, and slightly inflamed. We’ve been treating it with Vinegar mixed with water and copper sulfate (which we know is risky). We spray it on their bottoms and Pepper’s pox (she’s definitely the worse of both kids) seems to be drying up. We’re praying for them.

And that’s about all… :D
